I am originally from Kansas, and if you can tell me a Wizard of Oz joke
I haven't heard before, I will buy you a pint. I graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a degree in
physics (and a minor in medieval and renaissance studies - everybody needs a hobby). My senior thesis project there was to design and build a new Zeeman slower for John Thomas's cold fermions experiment.
I have now completed my PhD at Durham University. If you want to know more about my research,
check out my thesis page.
If you want to know more about the project I worked on, check out the BEC mixtures research page.
